Mr. Allon has participated in the mortgage securities markets since 1981, holding numerous positions within the industry at well-established investment firms and government agencies. Nomura Securities recruited him in 1987 to establish and manage the Mortgage Trading Department, which consistently grew in profitability and industry prominence under his stewardship. Nomura's MBS department traded in all areas of the MBS market, including agency passthroughs, agency and non-agency CMOs, and commercial loans. From 1993 to 1997, Mr. Allon acted as a consultant to Asset Investors, a real estate investment trust listed on the New York Stock Exchange. He was instrumental in the creation of a specialized portfolio of mortgage-backed bonds, which was subsequently re-securitized and sold at significant profit. Mr. Allon served Fannie Mae in various consulting capacities from 1993 through 2001 and was a member of its Customer Advisory Committee until 2001. Mr. Allon holds a B.S. in cellular biology from the University of Michigan.
Mr. Plisko is a Certified Public Accountant with over 14 years of experience in the securities industry. Prior to joining Braddock Financial in 2003, Mr. Plisko worked for Goldman Sachs (Cayman) Trust in its Global Fund Administration group. He was responsible for the accounting and administration functions for a portfolio of offshore hedge funds that had combined net assets under management in excess of $1 billion. He worked for more than 5 years for Deloitte & Touche, where he was responsible for auditing and financial statement reporting for a wide variety of investment companies. He holds a B.S. in finance and accounting from the University of Colorado.
Mr. Allon joined Braddock Financial in 2000 after selling a successful computer-remarketing firm he had founded and operated for more than ten years. Previously he served as a consultant to Sun Microsystems, assisting the company with its year-long internal migration from minicomputers to mainframes. He joined the law firm of Fenwick and West in Palo Alto, California as an associate in 1984. He was an associate editor at Inc. Magazine in Boston from 1979 to 1981. Mr. Allon is a member of the California Bar Association. He received his B.A. in journalism from Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts, and his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1984.
Mr. Tripp's career in finance and investments began in 1993. He began his career as a Collateralized Mortgage Obligations analyst for ING Investment Management. After earning his MBA from the McCombs School of Business (University of Texas - Austin), Garrett was an electricity commodity trader from 1998-2000 for Enron and from 2000-2003 for UBS, where he ran the Ontario Power Trading desk. Joining Braddock in 2003, he served in a portfolio management role, specializing in the Subprime and Alt-A sectors. Promoted in 2008, Garrett is a Senior Portfolio Manager on Braddock's Mortgage Opportunity Funds VII and VIII and performs a lead role in Braddock's loan level and mortgage industry research efforts. He holds a B.S. in business economics from the University of San Diego.
Since joining Braddock in 2005, Mr. Giordano has specialized in CDO Management and Non-Agency RMBS investments. Currently, Mr. Giordano is a Portfolio Manager on Braddock's Mortgage Opportunity Funds VII and VIII. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Giordano worked in the Structured Finance Group at Great-West Life. He was responsible for the management of a $1.2 billion portfolio primarily consisting of asset-backed securities and collateralized debt obligations. Mr. Giordano has been involved in the structured finance market since joining Great-West Life in 1996. Prior to joining Great-West Life, Mr. Giordano held various financial positions with Invesco Funds Group, Inc. Mr. Giordano received his MBA with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Colorado at Denver in 1996 and B.A. in economics from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1991.
